For many designers, nature is an important source of inspiration. Natural colours, shapes and even smells contribute to their innovative designs. This results in elegant, decorative designs with a subtle reference to nature.

Algue (Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec) - Vitra

In 2004 the Bouroullec Brothers designed their decorative Algues, inspired by the structure of natural algae. The Algues can be used aesthetically or with a more functional purpose. When you link them together, the Algues can be transformed into a room divider.

Dandelion (Richard Hutten) - Moooi

As the name already indicates, Richard Hutten’s Dandelion is based on a flower. The aluminium O’s represent the fuzzy seeds, blown away by a gush of wind. This results in an explosive feeling of energy in motion from the inside out. Dandelion exists as a floor lamp and as a pendant light.

Alburni (LucidiPevere) – Ligne Roset

The natural look of the Alburni table brings peace in every interior. It was designed by Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere and has a wooden top finished in a light veneer, and a slender steel base finished in a black lacquer. Thanks to the unusual pattern and shape of the top, every table is different – which only enhances its natural feeling.

Little field of flowers (Tord Boontje) - Nanimarquina

The Little Field of Flowers rug by Tord Boontje creates the feeling of grass under your feet, but inside your home. It’s like a break from the hustle in busy cities, a relief from everyday stress. The rug is available in four different colours, each according to a season: green, red, purple and ecru.
