Glitter and glamour through the design couple’s eyes

Until September 2, the ADAM museum in Brussels will be host to Eames & Hollywood, an exhibition with photographs taken by designers Charles and Ray Eames on directorBilly Wilder’s movie sets. The couple’s photographic work comprises over 750,000 images and unquestionably influenced their vision of design.

Featuring over 200 images, the series Movie Sets was made by Charles Eames in Hollywood. These photographs offer an amazing look behind the scenes of the film industry. Visitors of the ADAM will see portraits of Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart but just as the well the work of set designers. This year, two more temporary exhibitions are scheduled in the ADAM. Opening on April 21, Artview#4 will be a lively dialogue between artists and collectors. In autumn, the Centre d’Innovation et de Design (CID) presents its most recent acquisitions inIntersections#4.
