On September 9 and 10 you can go to HORST in the green valley of the Hageland Hills. At this unique festival music and art truly become one. The name of the festival is based on its location: the 15th century Castle of Horst, surrounded by water and forests. During the festival weekend electronic music and visual arts will be king.

Experimental visual art by Gijs Van Vaerenbergh

For the third year in a row, Gijs Van Vaerenbergh will be curating the arts program of the festival. They asked several artists to design something specifically for the festival. The result is a variety of work that explores the relationship between the context and the visitors of the event.

The artwork will be exposed during the festival and will be accompanied by talks and walks of the artists themselves. After the festival you can visit the exposition for free until the 9th of October.

The artists that contributed to the art at HORST are Luc Deleu, Pieterjan Ginckels, Filip Dujardin, Anne Dessing, Adrien Tirtiaux and Elise Eeraerts. Do you want to discover more about HORST arts and musicThen go visit the website at www.horstartsandmusic.com.
