Master Meubel is so much more than a ‘furniture store’. To meet the individual needs of each customer, we offer a wide range of services in addition to the furniture store, including a furniture studio, a paint shop and an upholstery studio. Rita Vanwesemael, the creative brain behind our studio for custom window decoration, fills us in on all the details.
“Before you only saw straight windows in interiors while today there are all kinds of shapes, materials and styles. It is a challenge to find the perfect solution for each new window decoration assignment. I thoroughly enjoy my job. It’s all about being creative, challenging myself and finding beautiful solutions. I’m a bit of a control freak. Everything must be exactly right, down to the millimeter. I also changed a bit since I make textile decoration: if I enter a house somewhere, I can see right away whether it is my precision work that is hung up at the windows!”
“The Master Meubel interior designers offer their customers different solutions and materials from our portfolio. Usually they do the measurements themselves at the customer’s home, but if a job is very complicated, I am asked to do it myself. Customers can also see on a visit to the workshop what's possible or talk to me about their window decoration project. That contact with the customers is something I really love. It is always so nice afterwards to hear back from satisfied customers!”

After taking the measurements at your home, you have the choice from a wide range of fabric brands in different price ranges. The two most popular brands in our window decoration range are Silent Gliss and COPA Home but be prepared to be surprised by other brands just as well.
