Tip #1: bar stools are the new lounge chairs

We’re quite fond of a high table or a bar next to the pool. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting on a bar stool with the people you love and having a lovely chat with a bite to eat and a drink. In fact, every design brand has an excellent choice of this type of products in their range. We loved picking out three items that you can buy at sales prices this month.

The sturdy Flexform Feel Good Stool – what’s in a name? – was designed by master Antonio Citterio. The airy Gubi Beetle Bar Chairwas signed by Gamfratesi, the studio of Danish Stine Gam and Italian Enrico Fratesi. And the MDF Italia Flow Chair is a classic by Jean Marie Massaud.

Tip #2: use a pouf in 101 different ways

Let’s be honest: even in Belgium it can be too hot to sit outside. Sweating, panting and puffing just aren’t very attractive, you know? So don’t hesitate to go inside during the hottest part of the day. The colourful MDF Italia Random Colors bookcase is guaranteed to keep you in the holiday mood. It was drawn by Neuland Industriedesign, the German studio owned by Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher.
