Villa M

Villa M is the model home of Master Meubel, located next to our showroom and also the home of the company manager and her family. Take a glimpse into the dining room and lounge.

Originally, Villa M was a traditional home built in 1962. The architectural firm Max8 gave it a radical new look to ensure it formed a uniform whole together with Master Meubel. Inside, design furniture was combined with customisation, window dressings, floor coverings and advice on the choice of colours. Villa M will give you a perfect idea of what you can expect from a partnership with our interior designers through the construction or renovation of your dream home.

Furniture with a story

Anyone walking into the doors of Villa M will be immediately asked to take a seat in one of the Knoll Saarinen Tulip Chairs at the Tulip Table. In designing these chairs, Eero Saarinen did away with the ‘ugly, confusing, chaotic’ forest of legs under tables and chairs. More than 60 years after he first put his design on paper, this set is still the ultimate contemporary combination for dining rooms.

A Cappellini Meltdown lamp in the mezzanine above the Tulip dining room is a real eye-catcher. The shape was inspired by the nuclear disaster in the Japanese city of Fukushima. The irreversible has been set in motion, and the filament almost appears to burst right out of its glass casing.

For the kitchen, a customised touch was applied to the range from the specialised Italian companies Poliform and Varenna. The patented installation method made the Rimadesio Velaria sliding glass doors between the dining room and the music room easy to install.

Modern design classics

The stairs in the dining room lead to the first floor, where the lounge is also located. The orange B&B Italia Tufty Time sofa, a design by Patricia Urquiola, and the black Vitra Repos armchair and ottoman by Antonio Citterio make it easy to relax and spend quality time with friends and family. Both chairs have since become some of the most successful pieces in the collections where they were once introduced. Further proof that modern furniture can also become timeless design classics.

For the tables, the choice was made for sleek design with black occasional tables from the Cassina Torei collection by Luca Nichetto and the glass Cassina LC10-P coffee table from Le Corbusier, Jeanneret and Perriand. Finally, the Kasthall Goose Eye rug together with the built-in butane stove give the lounge a deliciously warm, cosy feeling.
