realisatie dakappartement

This penthouse allowed us to start with a blank sheet: we did not have to take any already purchased or positioned furniture into consideration. Together with our client interior architect Isabelle went in search of the perfect piece of furniture for the perfect spot.

Spending quality time together appeared extremely important for this family. "Therefore both the seating corner and the dining area had to offer adequate seating space", Isabelle explains. "In the seating corner the Moov sofas by Cassina allow an unobstructed view of the large terrace. They also offer additional comfort when the backrests are extended in the upright position."

The leather of the sofas is contrasted by the B&B Italia Lazy armchairs, which certainly live up to their name, and the pattern in the Fusion rug by Limited Edition. A drink or magazine can be placed to the side or down on the large Moroso Phoenix coffee tables, whose rounded forms serve to soften the whole look, and the material of the Poliform Baba side tables serves as a link to the stunning kitchen table.

Convivial kitchen and reading corner

The circular Poliform Concorde table occupies a central position in the apartment. Thanks to its revolving middle section diners can help themselves during mealtimes. The convivial appeal of the table, the comfortable Knoll Conference Chairs and the sense of security the large Flos Skygarden lamp affords the kitchen, invites diners to linger endlessly at the table.

In the cosy reading corner next to the fireplace we opted for the luxurious Metropolitan armchairs by B&B Italia. Their perfect support for the back, neck and head guarantee a comfortable seated position. The elegant side tables with a handle are DLM by Hay.

Practical entrance hall and office space

We brightened up the entrance hall of this penthouse with the reliably eye-catching Hang It All coat rack by Vitra and the revolving Flow Pouf by MDF Italia, with a striking colour accent. The black Hesperide desk by the German brand Schönbuch is perfect for depositing the post, keys and other small items when you arrive home.

The office space was integrated in the living area. A compact, not overly solid home desk was also recommended. The Zanotta Calamo desk with the stylish Wishbone chair by Carl Hansen seemed perfect. In the evening the Meltdown standing lamp by Cappellini provides additional lighting and a playful colour accent.

From details to dressing room

Master Meubel not only supplies furniture, we also take care of the finishing touch that completes your interior. Above the kitchen island we fitted concrete Aplomb lamps by Foscarini; the handy La Palma Kai stools around the island revolve and are height-adjustable. Above the desk we hung three Climbers by Gutzz. And in the bedroom there is an elegant Molteni 606 dressing table on legs.

We are also the ideal partner for large, customised projects. We created this Porro Storage open dressing room fully customised for this penthouse. We fitted aluminium blinds by Luxaflex in the kitchen and dining areas. Our sewing workshop produced the white drawable curtains made from the fabric supplied by our client. Our Master craftsmen also supplied and installed the curtain rails by Silent Gliss.

Master is currently working with the client to design the roof terrace to extend the penthouse's ambiance outside. Curious about the outdoor furniture we will use to do so? Take a look on our website or visit our showroom during the Master Meubel Outdoor weekend.
