realisatie loft

The customers who live in this apartment were not quite sure of how they wanted their new interior to look. “But when they showed me pictures of their gorgeous loft, I knew that DePadova's minimalist yet warm designs would be a perfect match”, says Master interior architect Karlien. “It didn't take long before they, too, fell head over heels in love with this style.”

Seating and dining area in one large loft

The streamlined DePadova Square 16 sofa was the departure point for the redesign of this apartment. The seating area got a little extra with a Maarten Van Severen Low Chair. Its crossed legs disappear sumptuously into the deep-pile carpet, which is also a beautiful match for the Teixidors floor cushion. Vico Magistretti designed the DePadova Betulla so it could be used both as a side table and a seat. The height of the DePadova Chab-Table side tables next to the Square 16 are can be adjusted by simply tilting their base 90°.

The streamlined but warm look of the loft continues in the dining area. MA/U Studio’s T.T.A. (Tribute to Albers) table was inspired by the optical experiments of German artist Josef Albers. With their simple but refined lines, the DePadova Chesto arm chairs match the table perfectly. The wooden dish is by When Objects Work.

Stools, a bedside table and a bird

The corners of the large loft were spruced up with a number of stools and chairs. Throws by Teixidors add extra cosiness. Below are the Carl Hansen CH44 Lounge Chair by Hans J Wegner, the Pastoe Wire stool and the ML42 Stool by Mogens Lassen. The bedroom got an elegant bedside table by Kartell and on the windowsill, one of the Vitra Birds designed by the Bouroullecs has found somewhere to rest its wings. It's all about the detail...
